about me:

as a small child, i spoke only german at home so when i went to kindergarten, i was considered retarded and was allowed to make things out of play-doh all day. i did eventually learn english, and got a ba in biology from oberlin college and then an mfa in visual art from vermont college. in 2003, yearning for a watery geography, i packed up my honda civic and drove across the country, passing through all the states that begin with the letter "i" to discover my trajectory ended in seattle.

i production design for film, as well as create title sequences, color-correct and make animations. i enjoy collaboration. when i'm not working, i'm in my studio thinking about the weather and mapping, or climbing up some rocks.
